Base camp Unelmariutta

Unelmariutta Base Camp is Saimaa Wild Crew’s home base in the heart of Viljakansaari – a place where nature, a relaxed atmosphere and authentic experiences come together. From Base Camp, excursions, cruises, sauna evenings, events and various activities are organized all year round.

The Base Camp area includes Saimaa Wild Rentals equipment rental services, simple cabin accommodation for outdoor travellers, Nuotio Pub, Base Camp Cafe, as well as a lakeside sauna and hot tub by Lake Saimaa. The area serves as a base for independent adventurers, holidaymakers and guests taking part in Saimaa Wild Crew activities.

Here, the rush of everyday life is left behind. Days can include, for example, stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, cycling, sitting by the campfire, sauna or simply spending peaceful time in the beautiful landscapes of Lake Saimaa.
