Saimaa Wild Crew x Base Camp Badventurers

Alps Badventure 1 2027

Keke is heading back to his old home turf in Switzerland for a while. Over the years, Alpine trails, climbs, ridgelines and long days in the mountains became part of everyday life.

After moving to Finland, withdrawal symptoms are a real risk.

That will be fixed in spring 2027.

Saimaa Wild Crew and Base Camp Badventurers are heading to the Bernese Alps for six days for a compact but relaxed Alpine adventure. The program includes 3–4 day hikes, mountain roads, suspension bridges, Alpine lakes and wide-open views.

We are not going there to perform or tick boxes, but to move, enjoy the scenery and spend time with a good crew. The days will be built around the weather conditions, the group and the mountains.

SWC × Base Camp Badventurers
Greenfield Mountain Camp 2027
8–13 June 2027

Rock and mountains.

The second trip to Switzerland in a short period by Saimaa Wild Crew and Base Camp Badventurers combines the Bernese Alps, day hikes, mountain nights, lake life and Greenfield Festival into one adventure.

This is not just a festival trip, and it is not a regular hiking trip either. It is a six-day experience where we head up into the mountains, spend the night in an Alpine hut, go SUP boarding on a clear mountain lake and end the days with sauna and live music.

During the trip, we will do two day hikes in Diemtigtal Nature Park. At the end of the first hiking day, we will spend the night in a traditional Alpine hut in the middle of the mountains. The hut is heated with a stove, and the night is spent in sleeping bags surrounded by the silence of the mountains.

One of the excursion days takes us to Schilthorn — the legendary James Bond mountain where On Her Majesty’s Secret Service was filmed. The day includes lifts to the summit, mountain views and a James Bond brunch at the Piz Gloria restaurant.

As a contrast to the mountains, there will also be time for SUP boarding and sauna by the glacier-turquoise Lake Thun before the second Greenfield Festival day.

We head into the mountains with good energy, a relaxed attitude and just the right amount of chaos — always keeping safety in mind. The goal is not to grind out kilometres with a serious face, but to enjoy the mountains, the music, the crew and that feeling when you wake up not quite knowing what the day will bring.

Over the years, Greenfield Festival has featured artists such as Volbeat, Green Day, The Offspring, Rammstein, Slipknot, Billy Talent, Papa Roach, Rise Against and System of a Down.
