Corporate Packages

A winter corporate day on the ice of Lake Saimaa and in the peace of the forest. This package combines sliding snowshoeing, a campfire lunch, a dinner prepared from local ingredients and a sauna experience by the lake.

The day is ideal for corporate recreation days, customer events or a shared getaway for small groups. The program moves forward calmly, safely and according to a ready-planned package.

Example program

approx. 7:30–9:00 The group is picked up from an agreed location, for example Lappeenranta, Imatra, Mikkeli or Savonlinna. Transfer to Unelmariutta Base Camp on the shore of Lake Saimaa.

After the equipment has been distributed, the day’s program, route and safety instructions are reviewed before departure.

During the sliding snowshoe excursion, we move across the ice of Lake Saimaa and along winter forest routes at a relaxed pace, surrounded by the lake, forest and rocks.

During the excursion, we stop at a kota hut for campfire coffee and a snack.

After the break, the journey continues peacefully through the winter forest towards an old forest cabin.

During the day, the distance covered is approximately 6–7 kilometres.

At the forest cabin, we enjoy a hearty meal before returning to Unelmariutta Base Camp, where a warm lakeside sauna, a tent sauna built on the lake ice, a hot tub and a refreshing ice hole are waiting.

At the end of the evening, before the return transfer home, we enjoy a campfire dinner by the fires at Base Camp or in the kota hut.

Example program

The day begins aboard the Polaris 1 adventure vessel on the waters of Lake Saimaa. During the cruise, brunch or lunch is served while the vessel travels through archipelago landscapes and along rocky shores.

During the trip, we stop at a suitable location where guests can use kayaks and SUP boards independently, as well as swim in Lake Saimaa.

In the afternoon, coffee is enjoyed on the deck of Polaris 1 while taking in the views of Lake Saimaa. On the return journey, the sauna aboard Polaris 1 is heated, with the possibility for a refreshing swim.

After the cruise, we return to Unelmariutta Base Camp, where dinner made from local ingredients is prepared and enjoyed.

During the evening, guests can enjoy the lakeside sauna, hot tub and relaxing by the campfire on the shore of the lake.

Winter floating day is a calm and impressive winter experience package for corporate groups, work communities and customer events. The day takes place at Unelmariutta Base Camp on the shore of Lake Saimaa, surrounded by winter lake scenery, fires, saunas and shared activities.

The package is ideal for groups who want to step away from the usual meeting or restaurant environment. At the heart of the day are guided winter floating in dry suits, a campfire lunch, saunas, a hot tub, ice swimming, a campfire dinner and relaxed time together by the lake.

Example program

The group arrives at Unelmariutta Base Camp, where the day begins calmly with a review of the equipment and program. The staff takes care of the winter floating instructions, safety and the use of dry suits.

Winter floating is carried out as a guided activity in Lake Saimaa. The dry suit keeps the participant dry, and the experience is calm, safe and easy to approach even for first-timers.

By the shore, the fires, lakeside sauna, tent sauna on the lake ice and hot tub are heated. Around you are the winter landscapes of Lake Saimaa, ice, forest and the quiet lakeshore.

After the floating, a campfire lunch is enjoyed by the fires. The day continues with sauna, relaxing in the hot tub, ice swimming and spending peaceful time together.

At the end of the evening, a campfire dinner is enjoyed on the shore of Lake Saimaa. The package ends surrounded by fires, saunas and the winter lake scenery.

This example package is a day designed for companies and small groups, combining fishing, a Polaris 1 cruise, meals, sauna and shared time on the waters of Lake Saimaa.

The day takes place in the Kietävälänvirta, Tolvanselkä and Katosselkä areas. It combines relaxed time together, fishing, meals and sauna into a ready-made package in the middle of nature.

Example program

The day begins at Unelmariutta Base Camp, from where we set off aboard the Polaris 1 adventure vessel towards Katosselkä.

During the cruise, lunch is enjoyed while the vessel moves through the archipelago and lake landscapes of Lake Saimaa.

At Katosselkä, the group is met by Willi Saimaa’s fishing guide, Kalaäijä Antza. The group is divided into two groups of four.

The first group heads out fishing on Lake Saimaa with Antza. The second group stays aboard Polaris 1 to enjoy the sauna, swimming and relaxed time together on the lake.

After approximately 2–2.5 hours, the groups gather together at the grill. Sausages are grilled and enjoyed together before the groups switch activities.

After the break, the groups change programs. Fishing and sauna continue for another 2–2.5 hours.

At the end of the day, everyone returns together aboard Polaris 1 towards Unelmariutta Base Camp. On the return journey, dinner is enjoyed surrounded by the landscapes of Lake Saimaa, with the option to enjoy the sauna and swimming once more.
