Scope of Application

These terms apply to all services provided by the service provider, including guided excursions, activities, water-based services, transportation, accommodation arrangements, equipment rental, and corporate and private events.

The agreement is formed when the customer accepts these terms in connection with the booking and completes the payment.

Booking and Payment Terms

All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

The booking becomes binding after the booking confirmation. Payment is made at the time of booking or according to a separately agreed payment schedule. Corporate customers may be offered the possibility of invoicing based on a separate agreement.

The service provider has the right to require an advance payment or full payment before the service is carried out.

If payment is not made by the due date, the service provider has the right to cancel the booking without separate notice. Any late payment interest and collection costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Cancellation Terms and Refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing.

Cancellation by the customer:
– 14 days or more before the service: free cancellation
– 7–13 days before the service: 50% of the price will be charged
– Less than 7 days before the service: 100% of the price will be charged

No-show:
If the customer does not arrive at the agreed time, the full price of the service will be charged.

Cancellation by the service provider:
If the service provider has to cancel the service, the customer will receive a full refund or a new date will be agreed.

Weather conditions:
The service will not be cancelled lightly due to weather conditions. If necessary, the content of the service may be changed to ensure safety.

Illness:
Possible exceptions will be handled case by case against a medical certificate.

Force Majeure

The service provider is not responsible for delays, changes or cancellations caused by force majeure, such as weather conditions, official regulations, epidemics, technical failures or other unforeseen events.

Weather Conditions and Operational Changes

The services are carried out in a natural environment where conditions can change quickly. The service provider has the right to change the program, schedules, routes or activities to ensure safety.

Minimum Number of Participants

The service may require a minimum number of participants. If this number is not reached, the service provider has the right to cancel the service, reschedule it or change the pricing.

Participant’s Responsibility

The customer participates in the services at their own risk and is responsible for their own health, physical condition and suitability to participate. The customer agrees to follow the given instructions and use safety equipment.

Safety

Water-based activities involve risks, such as falling into the water and changing weather conditions. The use of life jackets is mandatory.

In winter conditions, activities are carried out according to the given instructions.

The service provider has the right to stop the activity for safety reasons.

Insurance

The service provider has liability insurance. The customer is responsible for their own accident and travel insurance.

Limitation of Liability

The service provider’s liability is limited to the price paid by the customer for the service. The service provider is not responsible for indirect damages or schedule changes.

Equipment and Gear

The customer is responsible for any damage caused to equipment due to negligence or use contrary to the given instructions. Compensation may cover the full replacement value.

Transportation

The service provider may use its own equipment or cooperation partners. The service provider is not responsible for delays caused by third parties.

Alcohol and Intoxicants

The use of alcohol is at the customer’s own risk. The service provider may prevent participation for safety reasons.

Preventing Participation

The service provider has the right to prevent participation if the customer is intoxicated or does not follow instructions. No refund will be given.

Personal Data

Customer data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and only for the purpose of carrying out the service.

Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

Finnish law applies. Disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiation and, if necessary, in the district court.

Acceptance

The customer accepts the terms in connection with the booking and payment. Acceptance forms a binding agreement.
